At Safe Harbor Network, we believe there are various ministries that specialize in certain areas that can be mutually beneficial.  The term Network is in our name for a reason.  Ministries are better together wherever possible in order to tap into a larger toolbox of resources.

Let’s consider one example.  Your ministry is in Kansas City Mo.  We will eventually have people linked to us from all over.  If we run into someone via our influence in your area, we’ll direct them to you.  Maybe your ministry is to more geared toward helping folks that are struggling with drug addiction.  We have a member in SHN who knows of someone in your area that needs help.  We’ll link them up with you.  Additionally, it could be possible that we can offer your ministry some assistance.  You could tap into our weekly services of preaching and interactive worship.  Or you may benefit from other folks in our network that can assist you.

The idea behind ministry affiliation is so we can both grow in our sphere of influence.  The more people that know about us, the more we can touch together.  Our tentacles can be far reaching.  (Both you and SHN) Think about it.  Your ministry is geared toward drug addiction. (Could be anything) You run into someone through your connections that has just lost one of their children.  Guess what?  There will be people in SHN who have lost children and can minister to them.  Or, you have a person that is walking through coming out of an abusive church situation.  You get the picture.
